Yoga begins with listening. When we listen, we are giving space to what is.

About Karen Passalacqua
Karen began practicing yoga in 1999. In 2005, she completed her first yoga teacher training program, Into This World Yoga, with Suzanne Cardinal. She was so inspired by all she learned and by her personal transformation that a few years later she chose to leave her job as an elementary school teacher and teach yoga full time.
She went on to study classical vinyasa yoga with Dharma Mittra in New York City and completed his 500-hour "Life of a Yogi" Advanced Teacher Training Program in November 2006.
Karen loved delving into yogic practice and philosophy so much that she studied a variety of different styles, including vinyasa, Ashtanga, Anusara Inspired, hot yoga, and restorative yoga and trained with inspirational teachers, including David Swenson, Lorraine Aguilar, and Jillian Pransky.
Karen is an eclectic yoga practitioner and teacher. She enjoys studying a variety of different yoga styles and discovering the common thread woven throughout each one. This thread is what is universal, what applies to everyone, everywhere, at all times. The vocabulary and nuances of each style may differ, but the intention and essence is the same — to create space for love, peace, connection, well-being, and relaxation to emerge.
Practicing and teaching yoga has such a powerful impact on Karen's life that she loves to share the wisdom of this ancient path with others. Her intention, on and off the mat, is to inspire and empower people to cultivate optimal health and vitality of body, mind, and spirit.
She is grateful to all her teachers who guide, support, and inspire her on this journey.
Karen is also a Family Constellations facilitator. She trained with Mark Wolynn, Suzi Tucker, and Carlo Praful Saracino. Family Constellations has a transformative effect on Karen's life and she loves to share the insights of this work with others. She facilitates individual and group sessions in person and online.
